Know Your Patient: How to Identify Chrysler VLP Models

Wear at the spring end of the bore allows line pressure to exhaust resulting in low line pressure, soft shifts and burnt clutches. Wear at this area also will affect converter flow and the lube circuit.
Sonnax oversized pressure regulator valve 92835-24 restores valve-to-bore clearances, allowing the pressure regulator valve to maintain correct pressure in all ranges. The aluminum valve is hard-coat anodized for wear resistance.
Does not fit units with variable line pressure (VLP). VLP units can be identified by the presence of the line pressure solenoid and transducer mounted on the valve body. Units with VLP can be serviced using92835-29.
