In Ford 4R100 and E4OD units, leakage between center support and hub can cause forward clutch failure and/or poor lube oil flow. This leakage can be caused by a number of problems, including an insufficient number and staggered spacing of mounting screws, surface finish flaws and flatness defects. Install Sonnax center support gasket 36743G to alleviate these problems.
